Question by real_ki: Which digital cameras have an option to include date stamp to the images?
I’ve read a few related questions and it seems that some of the older models had options for enabling date stamp to the image, but the recent ones don’t have that option and some just don’t have that option at all like my old Fuji one.
I like the date stamp feature and so far I’ve been manually adding text to the image for the date stamp and it becomes time consuming.
So… does anyone know or has anyone recently bought a digital camera that gives you an option to turn on or off the date stamp? If you know a brand which usually includes this feature, that will be helpful or if you can tell me the brand and the model name of the one that you know has this feature, that will be good too.

Answer by Dr. Sam I know that you can do this on the Canon Powershot SD series, but you have to set your image size to “postcard” to do this. It will not work with any other image size. This is in the 4:3 image ratio, so it’s not a weird size or anything. The only thing is, it’s a rather small file that would probably be best suited for e-mail and not printing any larger than 6×8 without any cropping.

A fresh out of the box Wireless Digital Picture Frame (10.4″). Innocent enough. It runs on Windows CE 5 according to a sticker on the back of it. I wanted to make sure that wasn’t a lie. This is me getting to the bare WinCE5 OS after I discovered a trick to crash the main “slideshow” app. All I have plugged into the main USB port is: 1) 4-Port USB Hub 2) Cheapo USB keyboard 3) Cheapo USB mouse 4) Near the end of the video, a cheapo 32MB USB flashdrive. I’m not exactly sure what happens, but I can reproduce this time and time again. Basically you need both the mouse and keyboard plugged in, scroll down past the “Settings” option, scroll back up, and click the word “Settings” with your mouse. There is no enter key on the keyboard so you have to click the mouse. WinCE5 (at least with this device) is very limited. No IE browser, Minimo refuses to work.
